SAFE SPACE GPS™ Faith Leader Training

2-Hour Signature Training

A Mental Health Theology training designed to equip clergy and faith leaders to engage mental health with greater theological understanding, pastoral confidence, and practical awareness. Through Guidance • Prayer • Support, faith leaders explore how to address stigma and integrate mental health awareness into proclamation, spiritual formation, pastoral care, and congregational life. The training also strengthens understanding of appropriate pastoral boundaries and connections to professional support when needed—without asking clergy to become clinicians, while encouraging sustainable practices that help destigmatize mental illness throughout the faith community.

Designed for pastors, clergy, ministry leaders, chaplains, congregational care teams, ministerial associations, and seminaries.

SAFE SPACE GPS™ Community Training

90-Minute Training

A Mental Health Theology training designed to help participants explore mental and emotional well-being through biblical and theological reflection, faith, and spiritual formation. Through Guidance • Prayer • Support, participants examine beliefs and stigma surrounding mental health, consider the role of prayer and spiritual support in healing, and explore how faith and professional mental health care can work together rather than in opposition. The training encourages healthier conversations about mental health, help-seeking, and supporting others with compassion and without shame.

Designed for Congregations, faith-based organizations, healthcare partners, government agencies, caregivers, and community members.

Reduced or sponsored training opportunities may be available to qualifying churches and nonprofit organizations through Steadfast Women in Ministry, Inc. (S.W.I.M.)
